Amino 125 help
« on: July 16, 2008, 08:53:05 AM »

I'm able to get to the portal, it prompts for the pin and I'm able to enter it.  It shows 'content is not available' for Live content, or 'No items found' for VOD. My vbrick stb's are operating fine however.  I'm using MCS 4.2, all my content is encoded to WMV.

Amino does not support WM.  It supports MPEG2 only.

I thought the new Aminet 125 supported WMV9. I see in the documentation that it is supposed to be supported.

While they may support the codec, as far as I am aware they do not support the protocols (the operation was a success but the patient died).  I think they only support residential service providers's mpeg-2 transport streams and not conventional RTSP/HTTP procotols.  But I could be wrong...
