Serial Port Pinouts
« on: March 06, 2008, 08:06:48 AM »

What I want to do should be simple, I just want to attach a simple pushbutton switch to the COM port and trigger a start/stop archiving.
Or, would a toggle switch be better?  Are there pinouts available for this application?

Very easy to do.  The pinouts are in the product manual. Just read about "scripts".

Ok, I found detailed directions in the "getting started" guide.  Kind of counter-intuitive for me but there it was..
Thanks!
