Is there any support for the 'vbrtsp' protocol using quicktime?
We are using StreamPump and would like to use quicktime to access the video feed. Better yet, does StreamPump allow for the standard RTSP protocol string?

You are all confused :) StreamPump only delivers MPEG-2 to one destination (typically multicast, or a videoalive software reflector). You are asking about vbrtsp which is purely MPEG-4 and purely unicast. QuickTime player supports MPEG-4 via rtsp, except it does not support closed captions and other VBrick features. You may be better off describing the problem you are trying to solve...

Thanks for the reply :) We have a client application that uses either windows media player or quicktime sdk to handle rtsp streams. We would like to support all of the VBrick features with either player (wmp, quicktime). I know that the vbrick add-on for media player will allow it to support the vbrtsp protocol. Is there something similar for quicktime?

No. The VBrick components allow Windows Media Player to play live/stored MPEG -- WMP does not have this ability without our plugin. QuickTime player supports industry-standard rtsp MPEG-4 and therefore does not need a plugin. QuickTime player cannot, however, display standard closed captions. So for QTP, just use rtsp://. There is more posted at vbrick.net.
