Expired or Demo Messages
« on: February 14, 2007, 05:16:19 AM »

StreamPlayer and StreamPlayer Plus is available from VBrick in licensed or unlicensed form.  Here is the difference:

- Unlicensed: MPEG-2 decoding not included, uses your existing decoder (if available)
- Licensed: MPEG-2 decoding is included

When you install the "free" version, it is good forever.

Whe you install the 30-day demo version, the license is only good for 30 days.

If you install the 30-day demo version and 30 days have expired, you will receive the "Expired" message.  The only way to continue to operate the player is to purchase a license (available online via credit card transaction).

"StreamPlayer" is not used by the VBrick Media Control Server, although it uses the same technology (see http://vbrick.net/vbbb/index.php?topic=62.0 ) .  If you get "expired" message with the EtherneTV system, you likely do not have the required license on the server for the number of viewers you desire.
